Giant Runt Gallery, Fort Worth
GReasy brings together Easyside’s seven current studio members: Francisco Josué Alvarado Araujo, Claire Kennedy, Christopher Nájera Estrada, Carrie Iverson, Jesse Morgan Barnett, Magaly Cantú, and Maria Barrientos. The exhibition considers the shared proximity and relationships of Easyside’s studio community while making space for the distinct materials, processes, and concerns that shape each artist’s practice.
Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, August 15, at 6:00 PM. Admission is free.
What’s for Dinner? Conflict & Consumption in American Food Culture

Moudy Gallery, Texas Christian University
Easyside artists Fernando Alvarez, Sheryl Anaya, Jesse Morgan Barnett, and Adrianna Touch are included in What’s for Dinner?, a group exhibition examining food as a site of memory, identity, power, and community.
Join us Thursday, August 27, 5:00–7:00 PM, for the opening reception and a performance by Sheryl Anaya. Moudy Gallery will also collect food donations throughout the exhibition to support Easyside’s community pantry.

Jesse Morgan Barnett is included in Sheep’s Clothing, a group exhibition featuring contemporary artists alongside historical folk artists, curated by Lucia Arbery Simek. The exhibition explores themes of power, disguise, belonging, and transformation.
Mortadella (Jesse Morgan Barnett)
BALEEN
June 27 – July 12, 2026
PRP, Dallas
Presented by Mortadella, BALEEN ruminates on national fandom, competitive singing, and social lubricants through a Venn diagram of humpback whales and FIFA. The exhibition includes work by Dan Gausman, Geraldine Gliubislavich, and Bijan Zadeh.
Freckles

Dallas Contemporary
Freckles features a new series of intimate works that move between painting and sculpture. Working with paper pulp, sand, glitter, and paint, Kennedy creates small-scale objects that explore material play, collection, and the quiet significance of everyday forms.
Welcome to Texas

Barry Whistler Gallery
Francisco Josué Alvarado Araujo is included in Welcome to Texas, a group exhibition highlighting artists whose work reflects the breadth and complexity of contemporary art in Texas. Bringing together multiple generations of artists, the exhibition offers a broad view of the state’s evolving artistic landscape.
