PRESS RELEASE: June 5 – July 10, 2025
Carillon Gallery, Fort Worth, TX
Easyside presents The Ordinary Instant, a group exhibition featuring members of the Easyside collective, curated by Casey Leone.
The exhibition brings together a range of practices across installation, sculpture, and image-based work to consider how meaning is shaped through fleeting encounters and everyday gestures. Attending to moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed, the works foreground subtle shifts in perception, duration, and attention.
Across the exhibition, artists engage with how images, objects, and environments register time and lived experience. The Ordinary Instant positions the gallery as a space where the familiar becomes unstable—where incidental moments accumulate into systems of meaning, and where the ordinary is reconfigured through material and spatial investigation.
The exhibition reflects Easyside’s ongoing commitment to collaborative, artist-driven programming and experimental approaches to exhibition-making in North Texas.
