London Fix

London Fix

Easyside presents LONDON FIX, a two-day exhibition featuring video and object-based artworks by local, national, and international artists.

Hosted within Proxy Property’s East Dock—an industrial warehouse currently under renovation—the exhibition takes place during a liminal moment in the site’s evolution. LONDON FIX highlights experimental presentations of art that engage directly with this transitional environment. The materials, processes, and spatial interventions of the works resist categorization and prioritize impermanence.

The works collectively reflect the social, political, and art-historical conditions present in commercial and institutional art contexts, offering alternative entry points to recurrent issues such as gender, power, and commodity. At times ironic, sultry, precarious, and exuberant, the exhibition foregrounds methods of artmaking that exist at the periphery of dominant platforms.

As in all of Easyside’s curatorial efforts, the exhibition seeks to harmonize and diversify the artists, artworks, spaces, and audiences engaged in our North Texas context.
